Mounting seats????

Hello again, man, it seems like i ask a looootttt of questions, haha, well atleast im getting the anwsers im looking for.

Anyway, my 68 doesnt have any seats in it, i was lucky enough to pick up a couple bucket seats on craigslist for like $40, they are in good shape, the dude said they are like late 80's early 90's i think. But he had them in a 67, and had them welded right to the floor and they worked out just fine.

They are mounted on sliders, and they do lean back.

Anyway, what are some ways you all have your bucket seats mounted?

I was thinking like 1" bar stock risers drilled out and bolt them to those, or if i wanna go a little more advanced maybe a square tubing frame or something of the like.........

If anyone has pics of something they have fabbed up or something, or just any info, heck even something you chicken scratched out on a 2X4 in the garage with a sharpie!!!! i dont care

thanks

Re: Mounting seats????

to the boards from NC 68 pieces....

I've seen a set of buckets in a C50 using square tubing as a bracket....
I think you are on the right track (no pun intended)...fabbing up brackets
may be the best option....
