Most comfortable and best fit seat
I was curious to see what is the best fit, most comfortable seat that does not look out of place to put in my truck. I was thinking about a Chevy fullsize 2000-present buckets. Post a pic of your seat.

Re: Most comfortable and best fit seat
I dont have any pics but my DD has a bench from an 89 F150. it has the large center armrest with room for my Thermos and a carton of Camel's underneath. (I am quitting next week)
good fit, slim back rest for more leg room, and nice height. |

Re: Most comfortable and best fit seat
i have some buckets out of an 04 silverado.. they feel great, but are a little bulky for the truck, but they do fit as far as width just fine.. also i never drove the truck w/the stock bench so maybe they are just as roomy, i just feel a little close to the steering wheel

Re: Most comfortable and best fit seat
I bought this one off of craigslist for $180, it's out of a 98 chevy fullsize, the beauty was that it fit right in using the existing 4 bolt holes, it's very comfy, has a middle seat/armrest storage, & I if I keep it I will be getting it recovered in Black to go better with my interior, but it is ten times better then the seat that was in the truck, I see alot of seats I like alot better on Ebay, but they are more like $900.

Re: Most comfortable and best fit seat
Here's a shot of the frame where it mounts, another plus is that it sat high enough to fit over all my electronics that I have under the seat, (cd changer/amp ect.)

Re: Most comfortable and best fit seat
Mine has a custom made deal with a set of cavalier buckets mounted to a home built frame (like buddy buckets, but WAY better) and it has a Blazer console inbetween. Just go to a used car lot and sit in seats till you find a set you like then find em on ebay or the local wrecking yard!!

Re: Most comfortable and best fit seat
Looks nice. Did you use the brackets that came on the seat?

Re: Most comfortable and best fit seat
yep you can use the 02 brackets, just gotta drill new holes in the floor, and they have integrated seat belts

Re: Most comfortable and best fit seat
i used some `98 Honda accord leather seats, really comfy but a pretty low ride (with that i mean to say that you sit fairly close to the cabin floor)
took em out to make a new rail, haven`t found the time yet though

Re: Most comfortable and best fit seat
Did you reinforce the floor before you installed the seats?
