1 1.25" front sway bar bushings??

I have a 1.25" sway bar for the front of My truck and ordered Moog 6476 bushings for it but there is no way I could mound the retainer tight to the mounting surface. Anyone have a part # for Nos ones or aftermarket that actually fit? I really don't want urethane ones if rubber ones are still available.

I recently installed the same sway bar and Moog urethane bushings. Had to hammer the retainers on with a rubber mallet. Very tight. The retainers came with the 1-1/4" bar though. Are you using the stock bushing retainers? Not sure if there is a difference.

Re: 1 1.25" front sway bar bushings??

These just showed up yesterday and fit my 1-1/4" bar (from a 1-ton square body truck) perfectly.

Yeah mine are the stock retainers. Do I need aftermarket retainers for these?

The factory brackets should work with the bushings you have. It will be, and should be tight.

I just installed a front sway bar on my truck. Mine were 1 1/8th and I ordered mine through Amazon also. They fit great.
