I also have the 68' Texas Truck Prison plates. They were mint when I got them and came with the same insert between the plates.

Hayhauler, do you know what the differences are in designation for MN plates? I have a set of 1970 Txx-xxx plates with '71 tags. The plates are cream with red/orange lettering. The guy I bought them from said they were truck plates because of the 'T' designation and that they made them every other year hence the '71 tags. Does that sound right?

What they MENT to say... you can't ADMIT to repainting your plates.
If you stick with original colors, and the paint is non reflective to begine with, then how will they ever know?

I thought trailer maybe too, but then found some info that they might be farm truck plates... here they are if anyone has another idea:
