Greyhound warning

A lot of board members like shipping greyhound so I thought I would toss this out there.I bought some stepside fenders and steps from a board member and he shipped them to me in November.Greyhound lost them and still has not reimbersed me.They wont even talk to me since he shipped them and I am being told they constantly give him the runaround.I know fron calling them just how hard it is to get a person on the phone.I was transfered 6 times and hung up on twice.I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

Re: Greyhound warning

I hope you get it worked out but I also hope this is an isolated incident as without Greyhound to ship larger parts we are at the mercy of the pirates at the shipping companies. Hope he had insurance on the shipment.

Re: Greyhound warning

I just resent the claim form for like the 4th or 5th time and still no response. I hope it is isolated, but honestly how do you "lose" two stepside fenders bolted together?! We are talking at least 3' X 4' and 80+ lbs!! Someone walked away with them and the freakin' red tape crap to get the claim handled is rediculous, I insured them THANK GOD!! But that isn't helping right now as the claim still is in the air as far as being processed!!

Re: Greyhound warning

I tried to ship some larger items through them. Got a quote...drove over an hour to get there...the price was DOUBLE what I was told. I brought the parts home with me. Shipping alone was gonna cost almost what the parts were worth. I don't even consider them when shipping anything. Something big...pay UPS/FedEx prices or come and get it....Bigger stuff I sell on eBay is pick-up only. It limits the buyers interested, but it beats spending half the day for nothing
