Chevrolet LUV 4X4 test from Road & Track, 1979

Hi all,

While scanning some old magazines, I found this test/driving impression of the LUV 4X4, published in the November 1979 issue of R & T. Here it is for your pleasure...

That's cool and I remember when they first came out. I 1/2 paid attention to them because they were Japanese and didn't see them as real Chevys. But today with the way things are all screwed up I think they're not too bad. I'd like to have a 71/72 or a 4wd one in clean condition. I never thought I'd see a mini truck as a classic. But,these make sense today.

the 79/80 4X4 graphics are the ones i like the most . The 72' had alot of special first year pieces but still cool trucks with the round tail lights in the bed .
