You will get hooked on Austin. I travel there every year for the round-up in the spring… maybe we can meet up. Till then, welcome to the southwest.
Thanks Clem and I would look forward to that. Your C30 was the inspiration for me buying this truck. I have kept reading about the Lonestar Roundup for some time now, I am looking forward to heading out there this spring with the '49.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Welcome to TEXAS!

Since you are in Austin, you need to check out Fredericksburg when you have a free weekend. Cool German town about 70 miles west of Austin.

Also, there is a good swap meet in Fredericksburg, July 28-30, 2017. I hope to be there...

Also, make time to head to TMS April 27-30, 2017 for the Pate Swap Meet.

Finally getting the garage arranged to get back to work. Picked up some steel to build a work table so Darla will have to wait.

Re: "Darla" - 1965 Chevy C30 Dually

Looking forward to some updates on Darla....I have a 63 C30, and a donor 400 Small Block or 12V Cummins that I'm still on the fence about.

Oh and Welcome to Texas!
