Maddog... you may see the road through the floor of your truck, but from the outside it looks clean, including the rockers.

Re: Daily Drivers

She starts every time. Even in the dead of winter (We got to -10 or so here) It's so nice not having a truck payment anymore.

Guess I should explain that last comment. This is what happened to what I used to be in. After the crash I got smart and paid in full for a truck instead of paying a bank for one.

Re: Daily Drivers

I drove my 72 c/20 for 6 years as a daily driver. I loved it. I now drive it about twice a week, just because I love it. It is hard on gas and I have a long commute, but frankly, the commute is better in an old truck.

Re: Daily Drivers

Here's my driver, although it's getting a new engine right now. And I also resemble the highway in the floor comment. I've got new floor pans, just haven't got them in since it's all I have to drive...

Re: Daily Drivers

I zero'd the odometer when I put this thing together 4 years ago. As of yesterday, it has 98,600 miles on it. That right at 25k miles a year.

This thing sits in my garage getting less than 1 tank of gas a month run through it. I just always wanted a Toyota 4x4 to drive when I need a nice vehicle.

Sorry to say but with a nice C10 like that, I would kick the Tundra to the curb and the C10 would have prime driveway space.
