Step side fenders....

I have a question for anyone who really knows. I was told that the 3/4- 1 ton step side fenders were the same length and bolt pattern but about 2" wider than the 1/2 ton models. Is this true? Any good info is appreciated. I want to go junkyard diving this weekend. I'm actually looking for 2" wider fenders so.... Thanks guys...

Re: Step side fenders....

I dont know about the 1 tons, but the 3/4 tons used the same step side fenders as the 1/2 tons.

Re: Step side fenders....

I thought so. Then maybe they're talking about the 1ton, right. Oh well. I'll see what I can scavenge up this weekend at the local wrecking yards.

Re: Step side fenders....

Most of the one tons I see are flatbeds. Or panels

Re: Step side fenders....

These are a couple of c-30 steppers that I have pics of, but the fenders look the same to me.

Thumbs up Re: Step side fenders....

Yeah, they look the same. Oh well, thanks for the info. I'll probably end up buying a set of wider fiberglass ones from Bebops.

Re: Step side fenders....

The fenders are the same. Stepside was an option vs fleetside. They had to have the same width rear axle so that the beds could be swapped.

Re: Step side fenders....

That makes sense. I guess I was given the wrong info about the fenders being wider on 1 tons. Thanks guys
