i wonder if it's taking so long because this ride is obviously not the "normal" type of ride this place does. takes longer to make it right instead of "tricking" it out.

I shouldn't talk much, mine is in about the same shape as Phase 3, and its been longer than a year at that phase!

Man I would be so pissed off right now. Have you contacted a lawyer to see if there is anything you can do to get your truck back any faster? Or have you contacted the radio station to see if they know what is up? This has been going on for a year and a half now. Surely they have made some decent progress on your truck. I would demand a personal inspection. Maybe I'm just to impatient of a person though.

'72 Chevy Suburban hasn't been on since early August.

I wonder where the 10 grand went. Maybe the radio station hasn't paid up? Or the shop took the money and blew it.

Damn i feel bad. Just came across this whole thread today, and at first was excited--till i skipped ahead 18 pages. Somebody needs to call the heads of the radio station and the shop. Send them all e-mails, and threaten legal action, reports to the BBB, whatever needs to be done...although i would just get about 10 of my closest friends--all hop in our trucks and go to the shop personally and see whats up.
