If it Boerne, Texas, that's near San Antonio. It's roughly 300 miles south of here. I'm in the DFW area.

The seat was done by an upholstery shop here in town. The material is vinyl around the edges and cloth seating area. It is all OEM material used on newer GM cars so it should last. I drove on it for a few years and it's been performing admirably as a sitting place in my garage for a few more.

Timing could be better. My in-laws live in Austin, but are in Washington until the end of June, otherwise that cuts about half the distance off.

Let me know what your friends think and we can work from there.

Don't write them off just yet. Timing may be such that I could be in Austin sometime around the week of June 22. Maybe meet up with them somewhere and make the delivery. My wife will be in Minn., my daughter at church camp and my son and I will be needing something to do, and my daughter's camp is about half way to Austin...see where I'm heading.

If they are willing, we can get the ball rolling.

Later.

Jeff,
Here is a picture of the driver side back bracket. I wanted you to see it before commiting to something. It was broken when I got the truck and the upholstry shop welded in a washer to support it. You'll notice that the washer is about 3/8 inch too high. It never bothered my, I put a nut on the other side to make it level.

I'll still be headed to Austin June 22 if you are interested.

19mike69, I'm supposed meet up with some of his family in Austin on Sunday to make the exchange, but I haven't heard from him since earlier in the week about when the board was having trouble.

You are about 40 minutes north of here aren't you? Yes, it should fit a '69. Best of my knowledge, the seat brackets were all the same 67-72.
