Road trip with the K5 and C10

Well the time has come. The family and I are moving Indiana from Texas and its a great excuse for a road trip. I plan to drive my 85 k5 and 76 c10 with a friend to get them up there ahead of the uhaul. Looking forward to it and pretty confident it Shiism be smooth. Both engines are crates and the trannys are in good shape. Besides fluids, I want to have an extra fuel pump, distributor, swap out all vbelts but carry a few extra and just enjoy the ride!

Check the weather before heading out. Tennis and baseball sized hail seems an every few days happening in OK this storm season. Otherwise, you might need that sheet metal!
