We drove from south of Baton Rouge, LA to St. Louis to pick up a used roof for our '72...it was only $150, but we had to drive 22 hours to get it !!

All part of the fun. I look at it as a worthwhile drive that happened to net me a new part.

Re: You know you are a square body nut when...

The other day I stopped to take a picture of a sharp old 3/4 ton Square in an uncommon factory color. Across the street a dog started barking its head off and a lady came down her driveway. I'm pretty sure the owner of the truck works at the mechanic shop across the street from her but she was gearing up to take a picture of me and my truck, I suppose because of my suspicious behavior, haha. I would have said hello, but could see what she was planning to do and decided to get blurry instead.
