   Her she is after a new gas tank, carb, plugs, fluids, 3/5 drop, and hand painted company logo. The original inline 6 is purrin'

 I love the patina on my workhorse project, and I even like the surface rust on the top side of every surface. I ran across this thread (great, when I visit the thread this morning none of the relevant pictures are displaying because the account has been seeing too much activity. Maybe they will show up again later?) on using CLR on the surface rust/rust stains. I can't help but wonder how my truck would look after this treatment. If I didn't like it I couldn't go back (at least not for several years!). I may try this technique on an area on a parts junker and see what I think.

Here's my '61. Previous owner was under the impression it was OG paint but the teal pans underneath, interior and teal peaking through on the doors says otherwise. I'm not a fan of red, but I think it's pretty cool looking.
