Re: WOW........2023 original miles

That's the most beautiful stripped down truck I've ever seen! How did it drive?

Re: WOW........2023 original miles

Just came from picking up some parts from Joe. That truck is beautiful you must see it in person to appreciate a truck with 2024 miles now on it some of the details I did not know about how they came from the factory.

Earlier in this thread, I voiced the opinion that it might not be accurate miles. Some took that to mean I BELIEVED it was a fake. I didn't, I was only saying it needed to be verified in person. You were close enough to see it, unfortunately, I wasn't, or I would have been bidding against you - and one of us would have had to pay more. I think you got it cheap.

Glad it turned out to be what it was offered as, it looks great.

Occasionally a low mile vette or Camaro turns up, some of them were second or third cars even back in the day, but I have NEVER heard of a truck with such low miles, and I doubt there is another one like it anywhere.

Congratulations.

Speaking of low mileage trucks. I remember reading a truck mag around 1995 or so, in it was an article written by Seth Doulton of Golden State Pickup Parts. The article was about a recent discovery of his. A 71/72 Chev LB with less than 1500 miles on it. Does anyone on here remember this article or truck? It was blue and white.

....ya' know what....I do remember the article about that truck. I think it had a factory pin stripe as well or something like that. That said, I think I still have it the article.

Coley
Any chance you could scan the article and post it up here? Start a new thread though so we don't hijack Joes thread.

Nice Ebay truck, cool to still see survivors out there, not cheap but worth it not being changed at all.

Jeez, I missed this request, sorry for the delay in response.
Ok guys, I'll see if I can find the article through my collection of 'Pick Up and Panels' magazine that I subscribed to back in the 90's....I'm pretty sure I kept them all.
I do have to find it tho'....and I might need a hand to figure out how to post it for all to read and see when I do find it.
Is there anyone else who use to be a member of the PPnP? I think I still have my 'membership' card somewhere. I'm not sure what happened to them but that was a great little truck magazine.
All Good
