Re: One Piece 67-72 Windows (no triangles)

Ok, not sure where the group buy theme has came from, but right now the price isn't even set yet. Currently it is still retailed at $495 pending negitiations with the suppliers. Depending on the number of actual commitments, we can go from there when the kit is released. We can start taking pre-orders for them mid February...

Well said, I Will take it at either price. So put me in line as well.

Re: One Piece 67-72 Windows (no triangles)

I really like the one piece windows. I even like the ones with the little triangle piece. Anything is an improvement over the vent wings. What's the difference in price between the two types and is the older version going to go down in price when the new one comes out? Where would one buy the older version? What is the difference in install between the two?

The price difference in the 2 is $399 compared to $495.
Two different companies make these, so I wouldn't expect the price of the older kit to go down.

The difference installation that I know of is you have to modify your current vent track and bolt/weld brackets and supports and cut the vent "tray" on the Triangle ersion.

The one here you remove everything but the regulator, cut 3 holes and install all the new parts.

Based on conversations yesterday I could get the older versions for you, but lets keep on topic.....

Re: One Piece 67-72 Windows (no triangles)

Ok, I can take pre-orders now. Retail is set at $495. 73-87chevytrucks.com is working with Electric Life on the power windows kits and it should be availible soon also.
When availible a link to the kit will show up in the desciption so you can order it also.
http://store.73-87chevytrucks.com/me...tegory_Code=6T

Kits will be delivered once the patents clear and the kits are assembled (end of February) If you have questions, let me know.

Capt. K,
i see on your website that they are available for blazer. do you know if this is accurate? I like them very much, but i don't necessarily want to be the guinea pig, especially since the older style (with triangles) were not supposed to work for 69-72 blazer

That was a mis-type, I was editing the catalog while it was still live... It won't work with the Blazer/Jimmys. Sorry about that...

Hey Cap'n, quickie: Deos pre-purchase price of $495 include shipping? If not, you're close enough - is it possible to pickup?

It is $495 for pre-purchase, right? Is there any gaurantee that any of us will actually have orders fulfilled with the first batch (e.g. will there be enough product and/or does the original manuf'er distribute to people ordering from them, then give to you?)

Well for all single pre-orders my cost is $480 + shipping. They are going to be shipped in the order they were placed, but he has a number of them waiting to be shipped now. All preorders will be fulfilled first, If you order a kit from me I am going to have it shipped directly to you.

Also, I updated the post in the parts forum, but I will put it here for reference also...

Previously several people asked about group orders, but it seams that everyone slacked off, but I did a some negotiating today if anyone cares...

Currently
For all actual pre-orders the cost will be $480 - a $15 discount
For 15 actual pre-orders the cost will be $460 - a $35 discount
For 25 actual pre-orders the cost will be $440 - a $55 discount.
For 50 actual pre-orders the cost will be $405 - a $95 discount.
shipping prices not included....(due to size a minimum of $35 for shipping will apply)

New information. About a month after the pickup/Burb kit is released they plan to offer an optional kit to work with the fulltop Blazer/Jimmys.

How many people have ordered thus far? I mean, in regards to the group buy? I'm going to go ahead and pre-purchase tonight. I am just curious how that would be worked out.

I just posted that today, so there is only one other confirmed purchase not counting yours from the board. Every marker we meet you will be credited that amount. If you want to wait that is fine also. let me know if you have questions.

So the $480 window kit is power right? Or is it additional for power?

$480 is power kit. I think the other was $399 or something. Cap'n, one other question and sorry if this is obvious, but I'm up to my neck in crap at the moment. Does that website take paypal?

Re: One Piece 67-72 Windows (no triangles)

No, $480 is the standard window kit with NO power. Power motor/regulators are an additional $280, the switch kit is $115. It is linked at the bottom of the description.

The Previous version of this kit that has the triangle is $399, nothing on this kit is that price.

Shifty, it will take paypal, but an order just came through a few minutes ago and like always paypal screwed it up. So I may have to call you on it. I would MUCH prefer credit card orders due to less hassle and ease of use.
