Re: Project Slammed 67 longbed

Sorry i havent updated this in a while, been kinda busy. I have worked on the truck quite a bit though!

I have complted the door frame work and i now have a true 1/8 inch door gap all the way around.

I started building a bracket for the Muncie tranny so that i dont have to cut a hole in my seat to shift it.

I shortened my stering wheel shaft 3 inches to open up the interior a bit.

And i baught a 1985 corvette for, get this, $400 bucks! I will be building a new frame this summer, my bro does it for a living and has a frame table at his place. He works with ONLY c4 corvette parts.

I will probobly get the corvette bucket seats recovered and use those...

the entire truck needs just a couple more coats of primer then ill seal er up and start shootn color! I think i have decided on a nissan pearl white btw...

Re: Project Slammed 67 longbed

Man its been a while... I feel like im reviving the dead. Any ways, i have been working on the truck in between school and work but dont have much to show for it cause is all body work but i did make a rather large and shiny purchase!!

Their FOOSE Nitrus 22"x10" in the back and 20"x8.5" in the front. CHROME!

now it needs to be WAY lower, notch and drop spindles here i come!

Re: Project Slammed 67 longbed

I got my new roll pan yesterday and decided it was too plain. So i came up with a neat exaust idea (ok i basicly just copied a corvette ) it should come together nicly with the stainless tips.

Welded it in..

Re: Project Slammed 67 longbed

ok so whats the name of this body filler? I know bondo makes one but its white. I have seen that the green kind is easier to work with.
