Anybody else have a 67 C20 in light yellow?

My husband and I recently bought a 67 C20 in pale yellow, which we've been fixing up along with my dad (ok so really it's mostly been my dad, but I am trying to be a dutiful daughter and help and learn!). We've been looking at and admiring other C- and K-series trucks of the same year online, but realized none of the trucks are in the same pale yellow as ours. Our paint is original (except for a fender that was repainted long before we got it that's slightly different than the rest of the truck).

So does anybody else here have a pale yellow '67 Chevy (would love pics)? And does anybody know why this color seems to be tough to find? Thanks in advance

Hehe, funny you should say that, I thought about adding "That's Me!" on the show board after listing the truck's name as Butters

Any chance you have a link to that thread, or remember its title? I'd love to see that truck!

Cool truck! From the pics it looks like it just needs that fender repainted to match better and drive the wheels off it.

Re: Anybody else have a 67 C20 in light yellow?

Thank you all! The ugly canopy is off her now and stored. We have white to freshen up her top and we hope to get the body repainted to its original, consistent color in the next year or two. Everything is pretty much original (with only 43k miles on the original engine), we even have the order sheet from the dealership where she was originally purchased. It was sheer luck to find her

Re: Anybody else have a 67 C20 in light yellow?

Now my dad will likely be horrifically embarrassed that I asked this, but he is not at hand for me to ask and since it was brought up here I'll risk looking a fool

The AC was, as I understand, installed by the dealer upon delivery from the factory as ordered by the buyer. So would it be considered original to the truck, original aftermarket, or just plain old aftermarket?

It's a dealer option. Still lucky to have it.

It needs to be recharged, which is going to be quite a pain because it's R12 and I am not sure we can even get R12 anymore. But I agree, I am glad to have it!

Oh that is so cool! I know what I will be doing for the next hour, lol

I wonder if there are any of these for sale, or if I can get these pages printed up. Would be really fun to have at shows!

Light yellow was available as a standard color in 1965, 1967 and 1968. Here is a factory photo of a '68 3/4 ton with the same hard to find light yellow.
