Rack and Pinion setup
Anyone got any information where to turn to do a rack and pinion swap? I am trying to get away from that old school power steering... my truck is on 35's and I can still turn it with one finger

If your truck is a 2WD....try Flaming River as below...

The fact the truck has 35's on it doesnt really mean the steering would be heavier....have you had the front end aligned? Is the power assist valve set too high? Neutral caster settings will give you a very light feel to the steering...and usually some wandering down the road... If your truck is a 4WD....I will let others more into the 4WD style respond....

Is rack & pinion strong enough for a truck, especially with 35s? I assume it's a 2wd. Can't imagine a 4wd with that. If you want it to be harder to steer, go arm strong

It is a 4wd truck.. I don't know if I have the wrong pump or what but it is so easy to steer I have zero road feedback.. almost like a game console steering wheel.. if I could figure out how to post pictures I would
