This is better than dredging up an old thread, it was updated with more pictures!

Thank You Sir.
I can not say enough
Thanks for sharing this piece of undisturbed history.
My vent-window levers are exactly like that.
Good to Know.
I will keep my original handles like those in my build.
Those arm-rest are like the 65/66 trucks that I remember riding in.
( A Long Time Ago ).
I will put this type on my metal door panels.
With that picture / gives me the position for placement.
They look good in line with the both handles.
Thanks again.
Dwayne

Thanks for sharing more photos of this incredible time capsule. This truck literally takes us back to day one! IMO, this one takes the crown as the best of the best preserved '67 GMC in the country. Too bad the Lambrecht trucks weren't kept in this condition!

Re: 1967 GMC Pickup - Museum Quality

That is beautiful and really fun to look at. I would love to put 5 miles on it. If it were mine, I would drive it. I would probably swap the engine and tranny to more my liking. A museum piece is a waste of time. You can store it and let someone else enjoy it when your dead. I would just enjoy it. My Dad left me a Colt Python, never shot, among other things. I sold it to a collector, I didn’t want to shoot it and ruin the value. I did keep his 1971 jet boat with a 428CJ engine. I’ve had a ball with it. Rebuilt and used it for years. Going through it’s last resto now. Things in the garage are no fun. Thanks so much for sharing that!!

Just found this, can't believe I missed it all these years since first posted ! !
Been said many times before but WOW !!! Truly an amazing looking truck. No words describe such a time capsule. Thanks for posting the initial post and for the up dated pictures. What a family treasure that is.

I was really conflicted when he lowered it and put the LS3 in it though.

What a cool truck. Thanks for sharing it.

I gotta say, it would be very hard for me to not drive it occasionally.

I totally agree. I would probably mile it out lol. Guess that's why none of mine are museum quality. I'm sure glad there's people who don't drive em so we can have posts like this one!

No way would I trade that truck for money.
