Then I realized that my dogs were still sleeping. And without fail they will go nuts if the doorbell rings and they aren't moving.

The doorbell didn't ring. I dreamed it.

I have a very comfortable chair in my office and sometimes I drift off to sleep in it. I get woken up by a tap on my shoulder. Same story. Dog is sleeping. Door is still closed. Nobody there.

My wife leaves for work early (I'm half asleep) She kisses me goodbye and closes the door. Then the door opens back up and she asks me can I make chili dogs for dinner.

I think about it later. My wife doesn't eat chili dogs. They give her bad heartburn. So I call her and ask why she wants them.

She has no idea what I'm talking about. It never happened. It was all in my head.

I almost never remember dreams. But these are vivid. Like memories of something that never happened...Weird.
