Tan or Yellow or Ochre?

I recently purchased a 1968 GMC Super Custom 2500. No SPID in glove box but have the build sheet. It says the color is Tan 75-5531 but I cannot find this color on any of the charts. I would call the actual color a Butterscotch pudding color. Any suggextions?

Re: Tan or Yellow or Ochre?

The build sheet code isn't clicking for me Papa. But it if looks like butterscotch, the only color I could think of is Dark Yellow. Is it original paint? Ochre didn't exist yet. The only tan was Palomino tan and it looks like a dark pink, rather than butterscotch.

Got a picture?? Faded Palomino Tan can be an odd color to diagnose sometimes and isn't very common.

Re: Tan or Yellow or Ochre?

If we could see the color it would help. To me Dark Yellow is like school bus yellow, pure yellow like heavy equipment. I believe it is actually the commercial fleet color that they offered in the production selections, same as 505 Woodland Green. There is a tan offered in that fleet selection
