Re: 57 GMC, frame swap, 4wd, 454 big block, 4 speed
57 GMC
Your build looks fun, doing interesting stuff. I'll be following along. You mentioned that you are looking to sell a 57 GMC front fender, which one? And the cost your looking to get? Thanks Nut Case

Re: 57 GMC, frame swap, 4wd, 454 big block, 4 speed
Thanks, hopefully one of these years I'll be able to drive it! The fender is spoken for now. What I have left to get rid of is the GMC gauge panel, and the complete 57 GMC grill/trim/core support/ bumper/ emblems

Re: 57 GMC, frame swap, 4wd, 454 big block, 4 speed
I haven't had much time to work on the truck lately, but I pulled the motor back out and changed to a hydraulic clutch system from Novak, and used an adjustable release bearing and adjustable arm pivot. I got everything set up nice and then reinstalled the motor. Also, I completely disassembled the steering box and cleaned everything, then rebuilt it with all new bearings/seals/teflon rings/etc.

Re: 57 GMC, frame swap, 4wd, 454 big block, 4 speed
Thanks guys. Yes, I grabbed the towel out of my "grease rag" pile. After I got the steering box apart and cleaned, I started reassembly with the new seals and parts, and it did cause a little extra looking for the small pieces, haha
