Great looking truck, Leon! You can't get too many, can you? Iowa must be the spot for these trucks. I bought mine up in the NE corner......

Re: NO, Don't make me buy it

My pops bought one just like that, same color and all from NC back in the early 70's too bad it met an untimely death in a roll over. $3k for one that clean and original is a deal!

Talking Re: NO, Don't make me buy it

just now found this thread and I must say I am not a big fan of the long bed's but for $3000 that truck is a deal ! if the cab is nice underneath then I would buy it sell or part out the long bed part's (EXCEPT THAT TAILGATE) the tailgate would go missing for a few day's (TILL I GOT THE SHORTBED READY FOR IT) and then you would have a $5000 truck , in any case it's a damn nice looking truck and WELL WORTH $3000 !!!!!!!!!!!!!

there are many things wrong with this post....maybe he wants a longbed, a shortened long bed would not bring near the value that a true longbed would bring, and its not nice being a long bed hater...ive seen long beds bring lots more cash than shortbeds...besides...8ft is always better than 6

Re: NO, Don't make me buy it

Very clean 3/4 ton. Almost didn't notice the difference because of the wagon wheels( first thing I would remove) .I would look a the SPID in glove box for more option info. Does it have a 250 or 292? Does it have the standard 4.57 ratio or optional 4.11 ratio?

Here is a pic of the SPID. I'm not 100% sure but I think I heard him mention 250ci. It does have the 4.11 rear. I'm not having any luck getting him below $3500 at this time so I may let it ride for a while. I am also dealing on a couple of 4x4's, one a project and one finished.... I should have pics of them by Monday eve. (I hope)

Re: NO, Don't make me buy it

Wow, thats pretty good, no rust , in Iowa, I just moved from Nebraska, and Iowa is neighboring , I would look real close for panel changes and or hidden rust, they use salt on the roads there too, dont they?
Truck looks fabulous for being its life as a farm truck in Iowa, either didnt get driven in the winter or had a nice resto done. for a 67 to look that good in that state leaves me to wonder...........??????

Re: NO, Don't make me buy it

With a set of 19.5" black wheels, white dog dish hubcaps and west coast mirrors, that truck would do it for me.Looks like its in turn key condition.Sure it lacks a lot of frills, but it will get you there and back. The 250 is super reliable and the 4.11 ratio is very desirable for this year.

Hey Leon, after meeting you at the k.c. nats and spending a whole day with you and the gang, i feel my opinion is as good as any, BUY IT. You deserve it (or maybe it deserves you) If for nothing else to make sure it goes to another fine home just like the 4x4. Gary
