I NEED to know who's coming, NW people for LonghornMan

This is the last thread I'm posting on this subject. I'm buying some food and I need to know who is going to show. I don't need to know if you aren't going to show, lol. Even if I know you're coming please post again.

LonghornMan will be here Sept, 29th this coming Saturday. If you wanna come help wrench or just shoot the poop, let me know here in this thread. This is just gonna be a laid back thing. I'm gonna toss some burgers and dogs on the BBQ, and I'll put some soda in a cooler. If you wanna bring some food or whatever, go for it...its not required. I'm only doing the burgers, dogs and soda though.

I already know we have people coming from Canada and Oregon, so if you live in, say, Federal Way and think its too far to drive, I say Blah

This isn't in a heated garage, but its out of the rain (an old hay bunker). So be prepared weather wise.

Ill probably go out there about 9:00 am. I do not know what time Andy will be here.

The address is 23706 Ben Howard RD, Monroe WA 98272. Hwy 203 goes between Monroe and Duvall. Ben Howard RD is a left a short ways after you cross over the bridge leaving Monroe going towards Duvall on 203. Its approximately 3 miles out on Ben Howard. On the right side, old barnyard just past the inlaws (23706) white house with green trim and red metal roof.
If you cant find it via map quest or something like that just PM me and Ill give you my cell so I can try to help you.

If you come into Monroe via 522 go to the end and circle around to the light, take a left on to Hwy 2 (if you go to the right you will pass the fairgrounds) , you will be heading east. When you get to Lewis St take a right. There is a large Shell station on that corner. Just follow this road out of town, maybe a couple of miles at best ( it eventually turns into 203). After you cross over the large bridge over the river, Ben Howard is your second left. It is well marked so you shouldnt miss it. Look at above to see where to go from there.

have no fear I will be there took the day off and will be at the airport at 8 am. the biggest dilema is whether I take the sub or the truck.

Re: I NEED to know who's coming, NW people for LonghornMan

What time is Andy's flight scheduled to arrive? I have a family thing in the mid-afternoon back in Tacoma (granddaughter's birthday). Wife says "CAN'T MISS" but I really want to see Andy and everybody else.

So I'm a probable depending on the arrival time. I know the airlines are only so-so when it comes to being on time but a hint on the time would be a big time help for me.

Thanks - Bob

So how's that any different than 90% of the rest of us here, myself included

This board is awesome because it's not full of haters who come here to bash GM (go to a "new" vehicle forum, HOLY CRAP! ) We're just a bunch of weirdos in love with old trucks

I think Rodney Carrington said it best, but I can't say what he said here

Hey mark, the tool shipment went out today, will be there friday.
This is why i love DHL... it weighed 77 pounds, insured for $1000, sent truck freight, cost me 42 bucks.

Just build a mini wall with the hay!
I'll be there! Sounds like I should be there no earlier than 9am.
Ok, so what sort of things need to be accomplished on the 'burb for Andy?

Oh, btw- I'll bring some Mountain Dew!

I will try. My wife wants me to dig a trench and install a french drain. But I will try to sneak away. Im only 5 miles away (above old prision farm).

What is Andy picking up/wrenching on? What needs to be done? What help is needed?

He's picking up a burb...there are several posts on this whole thing. Basically going to put new hoses, belts, etc etc. I believe he is also going to convert to HEI and change tranny fluid and filter also. Things to help make his trip back to Ohio a little more safe.

Thats tempting, but I'm way too busy to make it down. Looks like Andy got a good turn-out for the beginning of his trip. I'm sure his burb will be in fine shape for the journey, hopefully there isn't too much beer drinking goin' on (at least without me there!) by all the help, remember you guys, wrenching first, then beer drinking.Best of luck, Andy.
