Talk about a sleeper! I would love to have something like this, I'm planting the bug in my dads head right now. Maybe he'll bite.

Re: Supercharged truck!

yeah, the ad doesn't tell much info about the truck. There is a lot more to a vehicle than an engine and tranny (which is about all the ad mentions)

Looks like a SWB. I don't see stake pocket holes in the middle.

I thought the same thing.A good picture of the whole truck wouldn`t hurt. Can`t even see what wheels are on it.I`d still plunk $10k down from what I can tell from the ad,though...when that was possible.
i believe that`s saddle fawn paint, more brownish than anniversary gold...just aded.

Throw a cover over the bed so no one can see the fuel cell and go down the road with it.

Re: Supercharged truck!

It looks like non power brakes in there also. 600+hp and manual drum brakes, that would be a fun ride, all go and no whoa.

Re: Supercharged truck!

Sweet but I love how people try to sell trucks/cars and never take any good pictures. HELLO!!!! Take some decent pics and you'll be surprised at how much easier it is to sell.

BTW, anyone notice there are no pics of the pass. side. Hummm..... makes you wonder...

Also, reading the description, at $23,000 he is loosing money. Not sure where all the money went???

Re: Supercharged truck!

you may actually want to finish hooking up the supercharger before you take it for a spin.... There's no plumbing from the back of the supercharger to the intake....

Re: Supercharged truck!

wow, somebody needs to go there and check it out.. $10K for it? buy it and sell the engine.. and have the truck for free, and probably $$$ left for another engine to put in it!

Re: Supercharged truck!

2 me it looks as if the guy was building the engine tranny combo with no real plan for what it was going in. and he happend to have the truck. not knocking him i got the same issues. well some better pics are definately in order.

but just for the truck and drivetrain 10k is a good deal.

Re: Supercharged truck!

I wouldn`t budge either.

Non-power brakes stop as well as power brakes, just takes more pressure on the pedal.Power brakes require boost that big cam motors lack and those power brakes are worse than non-power.Many track cars fore go power brakes.
I can`t knock this truck.I have nothing but positive thoughts looking at it.REAL positive.
