Re: Wheel Choice Help Me Poll

Don't ask me. I can't decide either. That's the reason I have 7" rallys, 8" rallys, PO1's. 17" wheels and 20" wheels.

It is said "variety is the spice of life". Pick one and when you get tired of it pick another one. I'd vote the rallys again if it would let me. They're down 2 to 1 so less people are running them these days I guess.

I don't like huge-diameter wheels (on anything!) but 15s just look too tiny anymore; I think the 17s are just right, and Torque Thrusts have a timeless understated good look.
What I meant by "stock" was not high performance with original appearance. Mags to me go on trucks with at least a hot rod sounding exhaust. Kinda hoakie to put mags on a quiet single exhaust truck to me. It's like a flame job on a Harley with a stock motor. Stance is a different story. He's doing minimum lowering. Basically making it sit like a car, not slammed. I don't care how it turns out, but that's my opinion. I would want the two subtle changes on the otherwise original truck. Just going to a lower profile tire lowers a truck. But I like 70 series under a C/10. Of course, first thing I like to do is run dual exhaust on my stuff. But I would still keep with what I said, and 15" wheels just belong on a 1/2t or classic car, same as always... in my opinion

We are on the same page Tim. I wish I could post video on here of my truck running as it has 2 1/4 inch duals from the rams head manifolds back with Dynomax Super Turbo Mufflers. Also in the works is a Small Block 400 I have that when done will put out about 400 HP and that should work well with the 700R4 and the 3:73's with and Eaton Tru-Trac. I like the subtle looking changes too as you can't beat the timeless classic look of these trucks. If I go rallys I will be using 15 x 8''s on all 4 corners with 255/70 15 tires all the way around. I had those on old pinky and really liked the look of them even at stock height. I had the other 80's rallys on old pinky for a few years and think they worked good on the pink truck bt dont think they would look on good on the green truck and they are 15 x 7's so the 255/70's just wouldn't cut it for me on that size rim.

My two cents.A very nice pickup that’s to good to change. Put rally’s on it.

Re: Wheel Choice Help Me Poll

Poll is done and again I really appreciate everyones' comments and opinions. I guess Poll is done with 54 responses and was 2 to 1 for the TT's. I have decided to go with 15 x 8 rallys' with 255/70 15 tires on all 4 corners. The more I looked the more I thought the rallys" would be more classic looking on the truck. I actually bought the TT's for my Tahoe but they wouldn't fit so been thinking about using them on the C10 for about a year now. Gonna go a little different color on the rallys' and will post up a pic of the truck when I get them and the tires installed which will probably be next Spring as truck is being mothballed for Winter very soon and I gotta get the rallies painted and rings polished up and buy the tires.
