Extreme Bend Tow Hooks - Part Number

I recently purchased a set of '72 only Extreme Bend tow hooks from a board member and I just received them and I can't find a part number on them. I have included some pics of them. I thought they were all stamped with a part number. Does anyone know if they had a part number stamped, or if they did not, or some did and some did not?

Re: Extreme Bend Tow Hooks - Part Number

Some had a part number, some didn't. (3941733-4) All I have seen have a small six sided symbol on them however.

Re: Extreme Bend Tow Hooks - Part Number

There are no numbers on my set. One hook does have the aforementioned trade mark symbol. I suspect Father Time has been very hard to the other trade mark. Bruce

That part numbers I have seen are raised and not stamped into the hooks.

NOT extreme bends, but this set of 69-72 tow hooks has p/n cast with trademark..

interesting note, these hooks are L and R pointing yet both have exact same p/n 3941733-4

perhaps one of the three guys that own 90% of the tow hooks could photo doc the p/ns

Re: Extreme Bend Tow Hooks - Part Number

Some 72-only hooks have p/n's but others do not. For example, these two sets lack p/n's.

Re: Extreme Bend Tow Hooks - Part Number

Nice tow hook candy. I think it is correct for the 69-71 left and right to have the same part number.

Your hooks are fakes. Send them to me right away and I will dispose of them properly I'm just joking, of course.

Re: Extreme Bend Tow Hooks - Part Number

Hi Everyone,

I've always wondered why these "Extreme Bend Hooks" are held in such high regards?!?! What's up with this?

69-72. '72s could have either. My '72s all have had the normal more functional one made for each side 69-72s.

Why are held so high in regard? One year-only rarity, and maybe a little oddity glitch mixed in. Like Hot Wheels collectors paying more for errors

Do you have a good picture of what the six-sided symbol looks like?
