Tried my hand at pinstriping
I was looking through some of my old Hot Rod magazines and noticed most of the old school rides had pinstriping of some sort. So, I got a wild hair, grabbed some craft paint and a small brush, and went for it! My Blazer is in primer anyway, so I figured if I screwed it up I would just sand it off. I like the way it turned out so I think I'll buy the proper brush and paint, Does somebody offer a starter kit with a decent brush and basic colors?? What do you think of it?

Re: Tried my hand at pinstriping
I bought a 1 Shot starter kit at tcpglobal a while back along with a set of their brushes. Can't remember how much it all was to be honest.

Pretty darn good for using the wrong paint and the wrong brush, you've got some skills and with the right stuff I think you'll have success. Instructional material would be a big help for you as well. Stripe on!

Re: Tried my hand at pinstriping
Speedway had a great deal on a starter kit a couple months back. I can't remember how much but it had like 3 or 4 colors of striping paint, and a couple brushes. Check speedwaymotors.com for it. And by the way...that looks damn good for a first try with the wrong stuff. Get the right paint and brush and get after it!
