WTB 72 parchment door panels

Looking for a set of deluxe 72 door panels in original parchment. They will have to be very clean with no scratches, chalking or cracks. I’m going back to the highlander interior and my set are not up to my standard.

Re: WTB 72 parchment door panels

I saw those but those aren’t the deluxe set. I want the ones with the trim and scroll. Thanks for the lead though.

Re: WTB 72 parchment door panels

I know the ones you mean....same as the ones in my white/blue highlander or a parchment white version of these (black) ones....hopefully this helps identify them for others.
(with the scrolling and the chrome trim)

all good

Those are the ones. I actually have a black set already. They are too nice to paint and it’s just not the same.

Re: WTB 72 parchment door panels

I guess they are not as good as i remembered. 1 has a little chaulking but they are not cracked anywhere and no extra holes drilled.

I’ll pass on those but thanks for the pics. I really want to get a nice pair if I can with little to no scratches.

Re: WTB 72 parchment door panels

I am sure you know, but Parchment, Blue, and Saddle 72' panels seem to be the ones that are most affected by sun fading and rot. Good luck in the hunt. Took me several years to find a good blue set. If you aren't opposed, you can always put the woodgrain over the plain panel without the scroll. Trevor

Re: WTB 72 parchment door panels

I figure it’s a long shot but what the heck. If someone comes up with a really nice set of regular ones I’ll be interested as well.

Re: WTB 72 parchment door panels

Kirk, I have a parchment set that have yellowed slightly from the sun. There is no chalking and no extra holes or splits. It has the scrolls and stainless trim. I have had them stored in a box for almost 20 years. I dug them out and took pictures when I noticed you were looking for them. I would consider them very nice to excellent condition other then the yellowing. If you are interested let me know your email and I will send you pictures. Thanks. Ken

Re: WTB 72 parchment door panels

I've had pretty good luck putting these parchment panels in the blast cabinet and lightly bead blast them. Be careful to keep the nozzle moving as they will easily get a dark burn spot.

Glass bead. It's my buddy's cabinet so I'm not certain what exactly he has in it but I can find out on Tues.
