Yup, I think I want to try an Evenrude, with a big auqurium pump in the old longhorn(small LS) what you guys think....turbo, or blower? crazyL

Just to disspell the bs, my thoughts are that a 294 CI engine , really dont know that its not 500 cubes.....if you pack enough wind through the intakecrazyL

The first picture in my head was a truck with an Evinrude outboard motor(!) under the hood with some sort of turbo! Wow, yeah, that didn't work in my head. Glad you cleared it up. Made for an interesting picture though!

Probably ALL of the above I have really grown to love that 3rd gen smallblock, & am looking for the parts truck. The last one I looked at , was too tired(225,000 on the clock), but I have all winter to look I plan to bring my old Longhorn, into this century.....tired of the loud/rude/ crude, 10mpg chit! I want that 18-20mpg cruising, hell she will still be fun with the 6 spd box crazyL

Heres a 4.8 truck with a little baby turbo. Its gonna hurt your feelings when you see the 1/4 mile time.

If i remember right. That is one of the under the truck turbos mounted far back in the exhaust system. Otherwise bone stock.
