Re: NEW: 3/4T-1T Brake Booster System-Only Here! Finally!

Hi Frank,

I need a set up if you have one left or the parts to put one together. Disc/disc prop valve if possible. Thanks, Kevin.

Yes, I am building them on a regular basis and have all components in stock. Just let me know if it is going on a 3/4T-1T or 1/2T. Size matters! Thanks, Frank

It’s going in a 72 4x4 blazer, but I want the 3/4-1 ton.

Frank, what is the difference between the 3/4-1 ton vs the 1/2 ton? the brakes are super stiff on my Blazer and I wouldn't mind swapping the booster out to a better one.

I have a 9"DD that is about 30% more powerful than stock 1/2T and I have these 3/4T-1T systems that are about 50%+ more powerful. These are usually too powerful for a 1/2T unless you are running very big wheels & tires.

Do you have any of the 1/2 ton kits? If so you have a price. Need to get something on my daughter 1/2 ton step side I'm building.
It has 18" wheels all around.

It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Hi Frank, I have a 3/4 ton with disc/drum and a leaky aftermarket prop valve plus very hard/stiff braking. Do you think your setup would be good upgrade for my situation?

Thanks,
Brian

Hard stiff braking sounds like a bad booster. It should only take a light pedal pressure to stop. I always start with a fresh firewall booster/MC set and move out from there to make good brakes. Frank

Re: NEW: 3/4T-1T Brake Booster System-Only Here! Finally!

Hi,

I have a 72K10 that I want to replace/upgrade the braking system. Its old and I need to tow my boat safely. It's front disc rear drum. It has 35x12.5 tires.

I'm assuming I want the 3/4 or 1 ton booster?

Also, this is a direct bolt in to my existing truck right?

Do you have any in stock currently?

Thank you.

I have all new (not rebuilt) components to do a big 3/4T-1T booster with the correct 1/2T MC/PROP for your K10. It is a much more powerful set for bigger tires and a heavier truck load. Direct bolt in, uses OEM lines and OEM style brackets & pedal rod. Frank

Hey
I am Jerry. I have a '71 one ton. The front brakes are disk, redone last year. This year I found my rear drums were shot. I had to do disk on back. Do you have a set up that would match this system? Is it more expensive. Let me know. I would prefer black, but can paint what ever you have.

Thanks
Jerry

Yes. I can build a 1Ton disk/disk system for the same price. It will be black booster & brackets, like those shown on the first pages of this thread. You can pay with PP or CC using the email addy or secure phone # listed on all of my posts. Frank

Re: NEW: 3/4T-1T Brake Booster System-Only Here! Finally!

Hi Frank,

Does the booster come with the braces needed to install? I just picked up a 71 3/4 ton front end to swap into my 68 3/4 ton. I need the whole booster assembly as my truck doesn’t have one. I know I need the MC and proportioning valve and that’s why I’m thinking of going your route. Any tips or ideas for other parts I may need?

Thanks!

Not sure if you saw this. You're usually pretty quick to respond, but I've been missing posts a lot without the email notifications. I just thought I'd check in.

Thanks

Look at the first post on this thread. The brackets on the new set are stronger than original. The two extra original braces are not needed or recommended. Frank

Damn, I was getting geared up to buy one. Any idea how long the wait is? I guess I’ll be first in line.
