Question mating a 250 L6 to a turbo 350

Ok so in my 65 I yanked the 283 and 4 speed, cut off the trans cross member and have a 250 bolted to a t350 and set for mockup, looking at it this morning I realized there's no place to mount the starter, the starter mounted to the trans for the 250 and it bolted to the engine with the t350, how do I make this work? Do i have to drop a newer motor in or put the 4 speed back in? What am I overlooking here ?

That is a good question. I am going to be doing the same swap and would like to know before hand.

My mom always had the best advice. It was just a tad late. After a fall that involved blood, she'd say....."Careful!"

What year 250? I have a 250 with a starter mounting pad from a 68, but it uses the straight-across bolt pattern
