Re: moving up to a big tire !

At the nationals I was able to by Goodyears straight off the truck . The only 26 " slicks goodyear makes say Dunlop on the sidefor pro stock bikes . The compound is correct general duty and the side walls are correct for 2500 to 3500 just the tags say Dunlop eagle . I haven't gotten the rims yet , but will be mounting them soon . I'll try and get a few pics up . People are gonna freak when I pull up with dunlop slicks .

Re: moving up to a big tire !

Will those fit the Luv? Can't wait to see a wrinked sidewall shot!! I haven't picked up the luv I talked about getting, it is still sitting there and the weather is getting nicer, so maybe? I wanted it because a buddy of mine had one when we were in HS, with a hot 350. It never hooked, good thing cause it would've snapped the driveshaft, but from a rolling start it was insane!! I wanted it pretty bad, but with the truck I was doing for a board member and this motor job I am in the middle of right now and the spine fusion the end of May I didn't figure I needed another project, but everytime you post, I think man a 383 in a Luv would be b@d@$$!!

Re: moving up to a big tire !

Hangin' them both!! D@mn it I guess I have to have that Luv now!! It is a longbed, but I think that might help traction and help it not be to squirrely? My brother had a SBC that he bought from a buddy that had about 2 passes on it and it was in a Yugo or something retarded like that, anyways dude was scared of it so he pulled it and pssed it to my brother. Well, he had it for quite a while and never put it in anything, he passed 3 years ago and I have it, I am thinking the Luv and some rubber and I could be hangin' the hoops as well. Love it, I 'd like to see the new rubber, do you figure on a wheelie bar might be needed with that much of a contact patch?
