Car and truck Manual steering box guts interchange?

I've got a question. I was wondering if anyone has taken the guts out of a car manual steering box and put them in a truck box? The truck ratio is 24:1 and the car can have 16:1. They look identical except the mount flange is cast to the inner on the cars which is just in the housing. My truck has the assist power steering and it would be nice not to have 6 rotations lock to lock with power steering. https://www.classicindustries.com/product/525161.html

I will speak to the way I modified my Camaros steering.

The pitman arm, and idler arms are shorter on manual steering vehicles. I found a old article where someone swapped ps arms onto a manual car. This effectively speed up the ratio.

So depending on how much you want to speed up the steering.

I emailed borgeson on the weekend and tjey told me as long as I have an oe box I can interchange with their 16:1 parts from their box.
