Re: Question who has built ccsb

Sorry i havent had a chance to call you. The first cut needs to be behind the front bed bolt hole, the front and next to last holes will line up. Then you will have to drill the other two sets.
I measured back from the rear cab mount crossmember i think it was 7 1/2", that should put you just about a 1 1/2" behind the front bolt hole.Let me know if you have any other questions.

Re: Question who has built ccsb

I did mine the same way. Measured back 7 1/2 or so and made my first line. That way the factory frontmost bed hole is still in the original location and I dont have to worry about the bed not lining up right with the cab.

Re: Question who has built ccsb

I dont have the bed back on mine but I think the front 4 will line up and drill the rear 4. Either way, as long as the front 2 are factory at least the bed will line up with the cab properly.

Re: Question who has built ccsb

Unless something is diffrent only the front 2 and the next to last 2 should line up. That's the way mine is. When you take the 3 1/2" off the rear you lose the rear hole and you lose the second set from the front when you take the 14" out.

Post some pics after you lay it out if you have any questions. I might can get away to run by Sat. or Sun. before you cut it if you need me too.
