427 in a 1970 C10 CST from factory?

Hi there I am a new member. Ever so once in a while I run into a beautiful but puzzling GM product. I just had the privilege of viewing a 1970 CST CE10734 with a factory ordered L36 427 V8. I have seen 396's in a half ton but a 427? Where can I find more information about this? Thank you

Lots of things wrong with that SPID. Would be awesome if it was real but it’s not.

I actually found the reproduction decal format at
http://outintheshop.com/2.html

through here looking at the discussions. I would agree a factory installed 427 V8 into a C10 would have been awesome
