Aftermarket doors, do they fit?

I have heard both positive and negative comments about aftermarket doors. I can't find decent ones so I ordered some from SOKY and are hoping for the best.

What has been your expeience with them if you have used them and how bad are they?

Should I cancel and keep looking or are they workable?

Thanks for the help.

Re: Aftermarket doors, do they fit?

Be prepared to mess with the hoops if its a 67-72 door. you will likely need a spot weld cutter, carbide cutter, and a welder. They seem to fit nicely after i played with the hoops, latches, and hinges a bit. not a good photo but this whole truck is after market panels minus 2/3rd of the cab. I have a stack of doors and every one of them has enough rust in it that i didn't want to use any part of them.

If you do use them please post the results. Many are in the same boat as you. I have had a WTB add for a loooong time!

Re: Aftermarket doors, do they fit?

I just went through much pain with aftermarket doors for my Blazer.

I started off ordering both BLAZER doors from AMD out of Georgia (2018), which were TriPlus brand and took about 8 months to get, didn't fit well at all.

My project stalled due to frustration and not knowing what to do next.

Got a recommendation from a local shop that had built several C10's in the past year (2019/ 2020) and they used TRUCK doors from Truck Shop with good success.
I bought one TRUCK door from Truck Shop and test fitted with the hardtop off with success.
I then bought a second TRUCK door from Truck Shop and had good results.
I proceeded to modify the new TRUCK doors to fit the Blazer application.

The TRUCK doors sold by Truck Shop are Counterpart brand if I remember correctly.
The BLAZER doors sold by Truck Shop are TriPlus brand.

I learned this the hard and expensive way, hope this information helps others so they do not end up in the same situation I was in.
