WTB: 350 turbo automatic for 4x4 Blazer

I am looking for a 350 turbo auto for my 72 Blazer. I already have the rebuild kit, but the tranny I was going to use is out of a 2wd, and therefore, they tell me, it will not work. A good estimate on shipping costs, or if you are close I can pick up. I am in north central Missouri.

Thanks!!

I rebuilt my TH350. Found out my case was cracked so I bought a core at a 4x4 shop for $125. I got a "K" case which is a thicker, stronger case with an aluminum flywheel cover rather than the tin. Check the local tranny shops and see if you can work a deal on a core. That way, you also have twice the internal parts and you can pick the best of the two. I took the case to a tranny shop and had it hot tanked and some machine work done to it. My old case needed the machine work too. That ran me $110. I've seen a few "K" cases on CK5.com for sale. The transmission shop said they sell the "K" case for $300-400 but he couldn't get any at the time.

I have a low mileage TH350 in a 73 Blazer. It runs great as the motor & trans were rebuilt less than 20K ago. Receipts for trans show $700. I am selling for $400, but not easy/cheap to box & ship. You would probably do better to find one close enough to pick up. Try to find one you can drive. This one is in the running truck if anyone close to me needs it.
