Ideas for garage - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

So my wife and i bought a house with a double detached garage. now i am looking for ideas to outfit it. the garage is 24x24 with shelving down the left side. other than my vette and tools on the shelves, it is empty. i am thinking about making some workbenches, but am looking for other ideas.

I needed a work bench in my garage.I decided I wanted some doors on the front so the junk stacked on the shelves wouldn't be so cluttered looking.I used some cheap cabinets and built a 2X8 top for them.Then i mounted a couple of wall cabinets and put a 1X12 across the top of them to make a top shelf/place to hang a 4 ft shop light.Mine is simple.A "Restore" or if you have a remodeler who might be doing a kitchen you may be able to score cabinets for cheap or the labor of hauling them off.
This is where you go to get serious on garage stuff.If there is an idea out there then it has probably been posted here.
