here is my friends turquoise 65 original paint truck ,
it was going to be the parts truck for the black one . but it is in much better shape rust wise. so now we took what we needed off of the black one for his truck . and I got the black 65 and all the leftover scraps to build me a truck with . im putting his 350 engine and th350 in the tq truck and I get the 6cyl 3spd . I took the tq body off the frame this week to sandblast and paint the frame. im going to do all the bodywork and painting it black urethane with a red stripe he's buying all the chrome for it new . the first picture is of the tq truck un cleaned with the lumpy quarter panel. and I spray caned the black one and cut the springs and put my rims on it. in the second picture I took off the side trim and hammer and dollied the lumpy quarter out and cleaned off a lot of the rust , and I am test fitting the new cowl hood scoop on the rusted junk hood .. Here's my girl shes not much to look at but has only left me stranded maybe once and I've had her since i was about 13-14 haven't done much but she gets me where I need to go sbc350, granny gear 4 on the floor, air suspension all the way around with a 4 link and notch

Just picked this up for one of my daughters. Long story short, she got her full college scholarship and I kept my promise. First daughter got a Jeep Wrangler. Third daughter hasn't decided what she wants yet. She's driving the Z24 Cavalier they have shared until she finishes High School.

My first 60-66 and it's by far the nicest I've started with....going full PB front and rear, LS motor and Schott wheels....still working on the name...have several picked out..😄
