GMC 31,000 Miles!

Wish I had my camera but called the guy and gave him the board address so hopefully he will post. Belonged to his 91 yr-old grandfather who always kept it in his garage. Had the tailgate in the attic wrapped in a blanket. This thing is clean, nearly spotless and a rust-free survivor. No modifications whatsoever..even the stock hubcaps! "Plain-Jane" 6-cylinder, 3-tree, no power options but very nice and very clean original truck. Yes it is for sale! NOT MINE...darn.

I did not even have my camera phone...LOL! There were two of us drooling over it. All I could see was the cab and front clip (sans grill and core support) going directly onto my small block Longhorn...ROFLMAO!

Re: GMC 31,000 Miles!

Scott called and emailed me a couple of pics. This thing is clean and has had the camper top forever so the bed is spotless. There are a couple of scratches on the wheels tubs from use but the bottom of the bed was covered since new. It does not get much better than this for an original survivor! Jump in it and drive it across country and enjoy the gas savings of that six with the three on the tree!!!!

Scott will post more pictures tomorrow when he gets on and registers.

Re: GMC 31,000 Miles!

He had it appraised by a service in Bellevue...they told him $8,000-$10,000...so he is asking $8,500. I could not dispute the appraisal knowing what it takes to get one into that condition but I am used to buying trucks for $50-$1800...LOL!

If it had been a "give-away" price...it would already be in my garage!

Custom emblems and/or camper special emblems are the only ones I've seen on 1967 GMC's

Neat find, it's nice to see someone put a realistic price on a clean truck for a change.

That is a damn nice truck. I usually don't like LWB but that is some Americana history right there.
