Wife's new ZR2 02' w/9k miles!!

Bought it at an estate sale the old fella barely drove it so it is sort of a time capsule, 5-6 yo but runs drives and looks new!! It came with 31X10.50X15 stock, so I put on a more agressive MTR in 245/70/16 to help her handle the snow. It is nice, a little too small for all five of us, but perfect for "her" ride!! What do you think!?

Those MTRs will be nice. They all came with BFG A/Ts and did real well with those. It always bugged me to see someone buy a ZR2,which is a factory-built real off road option, and put all season radials on it.

The new wheels look good. I've never been a fan of stock ZR2 wheels.

Tire rack for $80 a wheel!! It was cheaper (since I had the MTR's) to buy wheels than to buy new 31X10.50X15's!! It is wicked and I am just waiting for the v6 to die so I can throw a 350 in it!! As I do my Tim the Toolman growl!!

Re: Wife's new ZR2 02' w/9k miles!!

Just did my first oil change on it and I really love the truck now. The oil filter is mounted behind the front bumper and super easy to get to. The only complaint is that is horizontal so it is hard to pre-fill the filter and not spill oil, but far better than the cramped confines around the front drivshaft, etc, etc!!
