Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II

Traded the S-10 i posted earlier for a 78'Nova

Then swapped the Nova and my 82 Checkmate for a clean 88' Mustang GT

Ended up selling Mustang as a roller and got this : 1976 Chevy Luv stepside All forged 385 , TH350 , 9 inch , aerospace brakes . Finally got it all together and running .

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II

Here's my daily driver:

86' GMC S15 2.5 Duke / 4 speed
*manual brakes
*manual steering
*factory a/c delete
*AM only radio (no tape deck or FM!)
*cigarette lighter delete
*rubber mat/bench seat
*203,XXX miles
*drop spindles/3" blocks

Averages 24 MPG without overdrive and runs like a champ. Long live the DUKE. If I ever hit the lottery it'll have a Pontiac SD4 in it.

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II

Just managed to find a decent UK spec blazer being broken after a front end accident and have scored the two rear lights (one of mine has a big crack in it and new ones are stupidly expensive) I also got the rear tailgate wiper motor assembly as mines never worked, sadly the headlights were both smashed as I need replacements when I can find them as both of mine have small stone chips/cracks and the prices make the rear lights look like a real bargain! As I type its in for its annual MoT test (safety inspection) so I may be sobbing into my beer soon with a large to-do list. I did manage to fix my abs warning light problem simply by cleaning the front sensor connection on the hub I haven't replaced yet. (would have been an instant fail as it was permanently lit)

If it passes then I can get on with mounting my spotlights on the bumper and making a roof light bar.

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II

Well, I'm chuffed, it just passed inspection with flying colours, not even a single advisory note let alone a fail on anything! Time to crack on with prettying her up (need to sort out the drooping drivers door hinge soon as the floor is wet and it smells like a damp dog)

Re: How about some pics of S10 S15 Luv Blazer II

no the back of mine still isnt bag'd. Ive finally got everything to do it, just not really into using my 110 welder for frame work. THat pic is a little bit of a trick lol, the driver side is lifted up some making it look lower, especially in the back. Its lower than its ever been though. When i blew the rear end i notched some of the x member for my driveshaft enough to where my pinion yoke now hits the floor lol. So its as low as you can go without cutting the floor for clearance.
