OK so my '70 has a 6/5.5" Superlift kit (springs F&R) and sits kinda silly... most lifted Blazers I've seen sit with a nose high attitude (I'm guessing because the lift manufacturers spec their springs for pickups, which sit tail-high from the factory). Who has corrected this and leveled their K5? How did you do it? Would you do it that way again? I'm thinking a Superlift 1.5"-2" Add-A-Leaf would work, but if anybody else has an idea....

I also used ORD 0 rates to fix the problem. They are just lilttle 1 inch blocks really that help level it out.

My lift is a 4 inch tuff country from suspension connection. They automatically send you 4 inch springs for the front and 6 inch for the rear when you order for a 69-72 blazer.

Has anyone noticed how bad Blazers handle nose-down??I`m asking because I`ve found nose-up gives better handling on the roads,especially rough ones.It feels like the rear just follows the front better.Kinda like a motor boat.It takes weight off the front steering which takes alot of pitch`n`roll out of the handling.Trucks,too.This has been my experience at least.I bought a`90 K/5 new and I noticed it sat nose-down.It was my wife`s family-driver and I wasn`t planning on lifting it.I took it to the spring shop and had it brought it up about 2".This made it level to maybe 1" up.What a difference in handling.Seems alot of lift kits on PUs leave a nose-up stance too.

LUV2XCLR8 - FYI, your bio on GQ says Rough Country springs. I've seen you post you had TUFF Country springs before. I know you know these are different and its a toungue twister bt TUFF and Rough. No big deal, don't mean to trash just a friendly note.

I have an all spring 4" lift on my blazer with no butt hang at all.
4" in front, 4" in the rear, seams to sit pretty level.
It's one of those "EZ Ride" kits. Although they sent me the wrong shocks with it.

For the leveling I have 4" front springs with 6" rear springs. I removed the overload leaf from the rears though.....

My '72 rides high in front. It has 4" front springs with rear blocks and helper springs. Leveling it out isn't high on my priority list though. My '69 rides level with 6" front springs and 6" rear blocks. If I were going to keep the '69, I'd probably want to swap in some rear springs with zero rates.

Aaron, you've done some trimming to your front fenders so you don't have rub issues, right?

I did trim the front of the rear fenders a long time ago. I have since moved the axles to compensate.
