Hello from Sherman ME

Hi folks,

I've been lurking around here for a while and finally decided to join & share some pics of my projects.

My dad and I are both into collecting and restoring 60's & 70's GM cars & trucks.

Our current project is this 72 Custom/10 with a 307 & 3 on the tree.

Plans are to fix it up using as many good used original parts as we can find (keeping the repro stuff to a minimum), give it a single-stage urethane paint job (original color), and use it as a daily driver/work truck.

This is my 74 Nova that we restored several years ago. Behind it is my 77 Nova that's also in the project stage (planning on making that a daily driver too).

This is dad's 66 C-10. My uncle drove it up from Texas when he moved back to Maine about 15 years ago. Dad bought it shortly after and we gave it a cosmetic restoration (body/paint/interior). It still has what we believe is the original 283 & 3 on the tree. The ol' 283 is getting pretty tired and we've been planning on replacing it with a 327 for some time now ... just haven't gotten around to that project yet.

And here's dad's 77 Sierra Classic. My grandfather bought it new and used it mostly as a snowplow truck. Dad continued to plow with it until we decided to give it a complete restoration a few years ago. Fortunately, dad had already replaced most all the rusty sheetmetal with new GM parts back when they were still readily available at the dealer so that made the resto a lot easier.
