63 w/14 gal Mustang Tank

Hey guys, I picked up a 14 gall Mustang tank the other day.
I have just the cab sitting in the frame with suspension and rear differential installed.
I know I will need to trim the frame rails , but how far forward from the rear of frame rails does the tank get mounted?
Thanks in advance for any input

I didn't use the Mustang tank. I used a Tanks Inc one and I put it as far forward as I could.

I mounted that same tank in my truck up to the cross brace. on the short bed there is just enough room. I don't have a good picture to show.

What I’m hearing is mount it as far forward as possible?

It took up all the space on mine. I don't think you will have a choice.
