A pillars - tweeters

I was looking around for replacement stereo and one site had plastic pillars with spots for tweeters in it (for 67-72). I didn't save the site.... anyone seen these? I thought it would be better than cutting holes and if I didn't like it, no big deal.

Re: A pillars - tweeters

It will sound awesome, no doubt about that. I would do my best to find that site though. Making a set of pillar pods might prove to be difficult.

Re: A pillars - tweeters

I modified plastic A pillar panels years ago in a 94 ranger, but I had a panel to work from. It worked well but takes alot of tuning to sound really nice. Be careful as the glass, metal cab, and location will all make the tweeter overly bright. I'm not sure what you are doing with/for mids as that location will seperate them quite a ways. Please post a link if you find those plastic panels.
