Anybody know what this plug is for?

Hey we recently bought a 2005 gmc Yukon. Yesterday I was going through it and noticed that the plug was just there and can't figure out where it goes. Any ideas would be great!

Re: Anybody know what this plug is for?

Are they worth installing, if so where would someone get one? Thanks! We love it so far. Unfortunately my wife's not a big fan of boats but she's kinda interested in kayaks so we'll see. When you planning on getting your new boat? What kind?

I'll get the new one 2 days after you buy my old one

I wouldn't bother doing anything with that connector. Close the hood and enjoy life

Re: Anybody know what this plug is for?

I have the same plug on my 06, never have known what it was for but I got the truck straight off the lot and it hasn't caused me any problems. Yet!

I believe that is for the old Air injection that used to sit in that corner on older models.

Lol I think drugs might be cheaper in long run. I'm excited to take the fishing boat out this summer hopefully soon.

Auxiliary Battery Relay Electrical Connector,
I have only seen the relay & Aux. Battery on gas trucks "Up-fitted" for Fire/Rescue/EMT/RV.
