My latest combo resulted in 6 mpg on a test run! Fully loaded and mixed driving. I'm hoping for 7 mpg or better all highway!

It gets people turning their heads and looking going through every town.
I like it.

It tows great and I leave it in OD.

The 4L60E has a low enough first gear that it takes off with no problem, and at 70mph she idles along at 1600 to 1700 rpm.

I figured I would have to go to 3.42? (like the donner truck was) or worst case 3.73's to pull good but I'm not messing with success.

sadly i have no pics and it wasnt my 68, but i had a polaris 335 in the bed pulling a trailer with a rider lawnmower in it with my 1999 silverado 2wd v6
